Hope Thrift Store

Hope Thrift Stores are an extension of the ministry of Hope Children’s Home.  Every donation and purchase contributes directly to the care and education of the over 60 abused, neglected, unwanted and orphaned children residing at Hope Children’s Home

Stop by our stores and see our good selection of clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics and household items.  You may even find that collectible you’ve always wanted.  Our friendly staff would love to help you save some money while helping us care for the children.

Two ways to donate your gently used items:

  1. Drop them off (for items that will fit in your vehicle)

    Unfortunately, we can no longer accept the following items:

    Appliances that need repair Furniture that is damaged, torn, or soiled
    Tires Paint
    Car batteries Pool tables
    Jacuzzis Swing sets
    Encyclopedias Magazines
    Waterbeds Large floor model copiers
    Computers older than 2 yrs Computer monitors (unless flat screen)
    Large commercial desks Typewriters
    Pianos and organs Stuffed animals
    TVs (unless like new or needs no repair) Satellite or Cable boxes
    LP records Dishwashers (unless new)

    We can pick up your donation if:

    • You have gently used larger furniture and/or large appliance items to donate AND
    • You are within a 30-mile radius of our campus at 11415 Hope International Drive, Tampa 33625 AND
    • You would be available during our pickup hours (*hours might be able to vary slightly, but these are the only available days):
      • Tuesdays, 12:00pm – 4:00pm
      • Wednesdays, 10:00am – 2:00pm
      • Fridays, 12:00pm – 4:00pm
