Eagles Basketball
The Eagles are coming off one of our most successful seasons ever. It was our first year
in the Suncoast Christian Conference. The girls' team ended with a 13-2
record and dropped a close game to Elfer's Christian School in the first round
of the post-season tourney. The boys' finished with a 13-6 record, beating
Elfer's in the first round of the tournament and losing to Genesis Prep in the
Semi-Final round.
The boys' team took home the coveted "Christian Character" award for the
season as voted by the coaches of the other teams in the conference. No
matter the outcome of what we do in life, if we can maintain our Christian
character, we're winners. Congratulations Coach John and team.
We have a good group of underclassmen returning next year and look forward to
another great season. Make plans to come out and support teams as they
strive to compete while maintaining the character Christ would have them show to
those they are competing against.
We also had record support from our community and friends. Let's make
2009 an even better year as we honor God in competition.
