When people think of missions, they often visualize a family going to a
foreign country or missionaries planting churches in third world countries,
forgetting there are many mission fields here in the United States. Hope
Children's Home is one of those mission fields. Our mission is "rescuing
the children of the next generation." Mission teams have many opportunities to serve by completing special projects
on the grounds of Hope Children's Home. Various projects may include:
painting, landscaping, construction, remodeling, etc.
Food and Lodging: We provide housing as well as three meals a
day for your group.
What To Bring: towels, bedding (sheets or sleeping bag), soap,
personal items.
What to Wear:
Men: may wear shorts, pants, and appropriate
T-Shirts.
Ladies: May wear modest walking shorts as
well as modest tops.
Bringing A Youth Group: bring one female adult for every 10
girls and one male adult for every 10 guys.
If you are interested in bringing a group to Hope Children's Home, fill out
the form below and our staff will call you to coordinate the details.
Once your mission trip has been coordinated, each member traveling to Hope
Children's Home will need to complete a registration form
for registration forms). Make enough copies of the registration form
for each person to complete one and bring them with you when you arrive for your
mission trip.
If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 813-961-1214.
